Ordered as V2.4X7.6, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 7.6 mm (0.299 in), a cross section of 2.4 mm (0.094 in), and an outside diameter of 12.4 mm (0.49 in). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Viton® (FKM) is valued for outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. This material stands up to aggressive chemicals, aromatic hydrocarbons, and chlorinated solvents. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.
