APG stocks the V5X76, a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 76 mm (2.992 in), a cross section of 5 mm (0.197 in), and an outside diameter of 86 mm (3.39 in). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The compound resists many acids, aggressive chemicals, and petroleum oils and fuels. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines will shorten service life.

Typical settings include chemical processing, aerospace, and automotive fuel systems.
