V1.78X7.94 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 7.94 mm (0.313 in), a cross section of 1.78 mm (0.07 in), and an outside diameter of 11.5 mm (0.45 in). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is known for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C).
