1.5MM CS X 8MM ID BLACK FKM 75D

The V1.5X8 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 8 mm (0.315 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 11 mm (0.43 in). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The compound resists many acids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and aggressive chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or hot water and steam are present.

It sees regular use in chemical processing, oil and gas, and aerospace.
