Part number V2.5X81 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 81 mm (3.189 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 86 mm (3.39 in). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. This material stands up to aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and chlorinated solvents. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or amines.
