APG stocks the V2.5X82, a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 82 mm (3.228 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 87 mm (3.43 in). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

This material stands up to chlorinated solvents, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines are present.

Typical settings include aerospace, high-temperature process equipment, and oil and gas.
