The V3X83 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 83 mm (3.268 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 89 mm (3.5 in). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, chlorinated solvents, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Viton® (FKM) is valued for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
