Part number V2.4X8.6 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 8.6 mm (0.339 in), a cross section of 2.4 mm (0.094 in), and an outside diameter of 13.4 mm (0.53 in). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, aggressive chemicals, and chlorinated solvents. Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in amines or hot water and steam.

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across semiconductor equipment, chemical processing, and high-temperature process equipment.
