Part number V4.5X86 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 86 mm (3.386 in), a cross section of 4.5 mm (0.177 in), and an outside diameter of 95 mm (3.74 in). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The material holds up against aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or amines are present.

Common environments for this compound include semiconductor equipment, aerospace, and chemical processing.
