Expect good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) delivers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or amines.

Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, high-temperature process equipment, and semiconductor equipment.
