Ordered as V1.5X9, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 9 mm (0.354 in), a cross section of 1.5 mm (0.059 in), and an outside diameter of 12 mm (0.47 in). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters.
