V2.5X9 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 9 mm (0.354 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 14 mm (0.55 in). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material holds up against many acids, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines are present.

Typical settings include oil and gas, aerospace, and chemical processing.
