V3.5X9 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 9 mm (0.354 in), a cross section of 3.5 mm (0.138 in), and an outside diameter of 16 mm (0.63 in). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. The compound resists chlorinated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service.
