-901 BLACK FKM 75D O-RING

Part number V75901 is an AS568-901 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.185 in (4.7 mm), a cross section of 0.056 in (1.42 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.297 in (7.54 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, many acids, and aggressive chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines call for a different compound.
