-901 BROWN FKM 75D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-901 brown Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 0.185 in (4.7 mm), a cross section of 0.056 in (1.42 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.297 in (7.54 mm), catalogued under part number VB75901. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, chlorinated solvents, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is known for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.
