Ordered as V2.5X91, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 91 mm (3.583 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 96 mm (3.78 in). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, many acids, and chlorinated solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) delivers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or amines call for a different compound.
