Ordered as V75913, this is an AS568-913 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.986 in (25.04 mm), a cross section of 0.116 in (2.95 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.218 in (30.94 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is valued for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. It resists petroleum oils and fuels, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving ketones and esters or amines call for a different compound.

Typical settings include high-temperature process equipment, semiconductor equipment, and oil and gas.
