V1.78X91.7 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 91.7 mm (3.61 in), a cross section of 1.78 mm (0.07 in), and an outside diameter of 95.26 mm (3.75 in). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

This material stands up to chlorinated solvents, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or ketones and esters are present.
