The V2.5X9.5 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 9.5 mm (0.374 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 14.5 mm (0.57 in). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) delivers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or ketones and esters.
