The V3X9.5 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 9.5 mm (0.374 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 15.5 mm (0.61 in). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) offers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Expect good resistance to chlorinated solvents, aggressive chemicals, and many acids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, chemical processing, and semiconductor equipment.
