APG stocks the V2.4X9.6, a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 9.6 mm (0.378 in), a cross section of 2.4 mm (0.094 in), and an outside diameter of 14.4 mm (0.57 in). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material holds up against chlorinated solvents, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
