V3X96 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 96 mm (3.78 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 102 mm (4.02 in). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Expect good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and many acids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
