-003 BLACK FKM 90D O-RING

Part number V90003 is an AS568-003 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.056 in (1.42 mm), a cross section of 0.06 in (1.52 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.176 in (4.47 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) offers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in aerospace, chemical processing, and automotive fuel systems.
