-109 BROWN FKM 90D O-RING

Ordered as VB90109, this is an AS568-109 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.299 in (7.59 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.505 in (12.83 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

This material stands up to aromatic hydrocarbons, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
