APG stocks the V90162, an AS568-162 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.737 in (145.72 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.943 in (150.95 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) delivers the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and engine and transmission fluids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to amines or ketones and esters will shorten service life.

Typical settings include aerospace, chemical processing, and semiconductor equipment.
