APG stocks the V90163, an AS568-163 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.987 in (152.07 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.193 in (157.3 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. Expect good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, aggressive chemicals, and many acids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids.

Typical settings include high-temperature process equipment, semiconductor equipment, and automotive fuel systems.
