-217 BLACK FKM 90D O-RING

V90217 is an AS568-217 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.171 in (29.74 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.449 in (36.8 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. It resists many acids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and engine and transmission fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.
