Ordered as VB90335, this is an AS568-335 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.725 in (69.22 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.145 in (79.88 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

This material stands up to many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and chlorinated solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where amines or hot water and steam are present.

It sees regular use in aerospace, automotive fuel systems, and high-temperature process equipment.
