APG stocks the V90383, an AS568-383 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 13.975 in (354.97 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 14.395 in (365.63 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

It resists aggressive chemicals, aromatic hydrocarbons, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) is specified for outstanding high-temperature capability, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.
