V90434 is an AS568-434 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.6 in (142.24 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.15 in (156.21 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and engine and transmission fluids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving amines or ketones and esters call for a different compound.
