-439 BROWN FKM 90D O-RING

VB90439 is an AS568-439 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 6.475 in (164.47 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.025 in (178.44 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
