-453 BLACK FKM 90D O-RING

Ordered as V90453, this is an AS568-453 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 11.975 in (304.17 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 12.525 in (318.14 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material holds up against many acids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and petroleum oils and fuels. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.
