-918 BLACK FKM 90D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-918 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 1.355 in (34.42 mm), a cross section of 0.116 in (2.95 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.587 in (40.31 mm), catalogued under part number V90918. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
