-007 BROWN FKM 90D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-007 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 0.145 in (3.68 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.285 in (7.24 mm), catalogued under part number VB90007. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The compound resists chlorinated solvents, aggressive chemicals, and aromatic hydrocarbons. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is valued for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or amines.
