-009 BLACK FKM 90D O-RING

V90009 is an AS568-009 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.208 in (5.28 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.348 in (8.84 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) is valued for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. It resists aromatic hydrocarbons, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving ketones and esters or amines call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, automotive fuel systems, and oil and gas.
