-010 BLACK FKM 90D O-RING

Ordered as V90010, this is an AS568-010 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.239 in (6.07 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.379 in (9.63 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and aggressive chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters.

Typical settings include chemical processing, automotive fuel systems, and semiconductor equipment.
