-012 BLACK FKM 90D O-RING

V90012 is an AS568-012 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.364 in (9.25 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.504 in (12.8 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and engine and transmission fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.

Common environments for this compound include chemical processing, semiconductor equipment, and high-temperature process equipment.
