This o-ring is supplied in AS568-014 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A with an inside diameter of 0.489 in (12.42 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.629 in (15.98 mm), catalogued under part number VB90014. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is valued for very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. It resists engine and transmission fluids, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
