-022 BLACK FKM 90D O-RING

V90022 is an AS568-022 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.989 in (25.12 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.129 in (28.68 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Expect good resistance to engine and transmission fluids, chlorinated solvents, and many acids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or amines.
