-038 BLACK FKM 90D O-RING

V90038 is an AS568-038 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.614 in (66.4 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.754 in (69.95 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, aggressive chemicals, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or ketones and esters.

Common environments for this compound include automotive fuel systems, semiconductor equipment, and high-temperature process equipment.
