The V90040 is an AS568-040 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.864 in (72.75 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.004 in (76.3 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

It sees regular use in oil and gas, automotive fuel systems, and high-temperature process equipment.
