-042 BLACK FKM 90D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-042 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 3.239 in (82.27 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.379 in (85.83 mm), catalogued under part number V90042. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

It resists many acids, petroleum oils and fuels, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Viton® (FKM) is known for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.
