V90045 is an AS568-045 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3.989 in (101.32 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.129 in (104.88 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The material holds up against many acids, aggressive chemicals, and aromatic hydrocarbons. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) delivers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
