-108 BLACK FKM 90D O-RING

APG stocks the V90108, an AS568-108 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.237 in (6.02 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.443 in (11.25 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The compound resists chlorinated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, and engine and transmission fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines call for a different compound.

Typical settings include aerospace, chemical processing, and oil and gas.
