The VB90114 is an AS568-114 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.612 in (15.54 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.818 in (20.78 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, aggressive chemicals, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or ketones and esters will shorten service life.
