Part number VB90117 is an AS568-117 brown Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.799 in (20.29 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.005 in (25.53 mm). An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. It resists aromatic hydrocarbons, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids.

Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, chemical processing, and aerospace.
