Ordered as V90145, this is an AS568-145 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.55 in (64.77 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.756 in (70 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers outstanding high-temperature capability and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and engine and transmission fluids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.
