-148 BLACK FKM 90D O-RING

The V90148 is an AS568-148 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.737 in (69.52 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.943 in (74.75 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Viton® (FKM) is specified for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The compound resists aggressive chemicals, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving amines or ketones and esters call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, chemical processing, and oil and gas.
