-201 BLACK FKM 90D O-RING

APG stocks the V90201, an AS568-201 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.171 in (4.34 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.449 in (11.4 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. This material stands up to aromatic hydrocarbons, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam.

Common environments for this compound include semiconductor equipment, high-temperature process equipment, and chemical processing.
