V90209 is an AS568-209 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.671 in (17.04 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.949 in (24.1 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Viton® (FKM) offers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. It resists aggressive chemicals, aromatic hydrocarbons, and chlorinated solvents. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where amines or hot water and steam are present.

Common environments for this compound include chemical processing, automotive fuel systems, and semiconductor equipment.
